தேவசபையிலே தேவன் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறார்; தேவர்களின் நடுவிலே அவர் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறார்.
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
எதுவரைக்கும் நீங்கள் அநியாயத்தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, துன்மார்க்கருக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம் பண்ணுவீர்கள். (சேலா.)
How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
ஏழைக்கும் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைக்கும் நியாயஞ்செய்து, சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்கும் திக்கற்றவனுக்கும் நீதி செய்யுங்கள்.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
பலவீனனையும் எளியவனையும் விடுவித்து துன்மார்க்கரின் கைக்கு அவர்களைத் தப்புவியுங்கள்.
Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
அறியாமலும் உணராமலுமிருக்கிறார்கள், அந்தகாரத்திலே நடக்கிறார்கள்; தேசத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்களெல்லாம் அசைகிறது.
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
நீங்கள் தேவர்கள் என்றும், நீங்களெல்லாரும் உன்னதமானவரின் மக்கள் என்றும் நான் சொல்லியிருந்தேன்.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் மனுஷரைப்போலச் செத்து லோகப்பிரபுக்களில் ஒருவனைப்போல விழுந்துபோவீர்கள்.
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
தேவனே எழுந்தருளும், பூமிக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்; நீரே சகல ஜாதிகளையும் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்.
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
